FRIDAY Sketches

Porkchop head.
now even more veiny and
grotesque.

Breathing and blinking.
I think I can tween out the breathing
chest to get it a little smoother.

Pages from my Sketchbook dumped

Here's a look at some more of my sketchbooks.
I like using large books to spread / spill out over the pages.

I like this little guy.
he gives me some hope.
lizards, dragons and creatures:

micky's nipples are
pretty gnarls.

summer madness

My sketchbook during my time in Hawaii.

Amazing & beautiful fish / found artifacts.

My GF's nephew had this way of
saying my name while sounding like my arch-nemesis.
a high-pitched emphasis on the "...iel "

I'll post more photos from the garden isle in Hawaii.

The perks of knowing so many people willing
to throw down in the kitchen.

...and off to see some mid-air explosions:

Also, this would be baddass.

Get it Together!

I designed record labels in 2011/12 for the Lugknuckles vinyl.
http://rafaeltapiaiii.blogspot.com/2011/12/on-grind.html

I really enjoy the end results

I am now putting together some poster designs to show off the records
and labels and maybe have a few runs to silk-screen. Here is some of my process as I'm working through these designs.

The one on the left is ever so minty-fresh with the colors.
And a classic half-tone pattern and B&W.

On these below I was incorporating a hand-drawn element
to the mark I designed.

Here is the record being played.
Pretty sweet!

A baseball tee design I've been working on
